A lovely view taken on the seafront looking North East towards the War Department, close to the Gables, at Dovercourt, Essex with the "Peters Swiss Chocolate Bars" machine intact and untouched my modern day vandalism and theft. However I am not sure how the bars didn't melt in the warm weather ?
This postcard was part of the Bell's Photography series, from Leigh-on-sea , who produced cards for 45 years from around 1905 though to 1950.
